Tribute to Ms. Lai

When I was young, I took lessons in Chinese painting from a local artist. Mrs. Lai taught me the fundamental skills and techniques of Chinese paintings and taught me how to use colors and ink to create certain styles. I remember that the hardest part of Chinese paintings is that there was very little room for error. Soon after we started Cocopunkz, I realized that this was true for shoes as well. Hence I created Tribute to Mrs. Lai by fusing Chinese painting styles with modern graphic art styles.
At Cocopunkz, we believe in uniqueness and individuality. Hence each pair of shoes is hand painted with care and each pair of shoes has its own story and meaning.
