Salvador Dali, one of my all time favorite artists, once said, “Intelligence without ambition is a bird without wings”. This quote reflected how I initially felt when we first started Cocopunkz. At first I was a little skeptical of starting our own line of shoes, afterall, the economy is bad and who knows if this idea of ours would ever fly. But if I never got started, then I would never know. Hence, for my very first pair of shoes, I painted birds in hopes that, if I work hard and do something with my skills, I would get somewhere.
