Baoding Lotuses

In the late 1800’s and early 1900’s wealthy Chinese families bound their daughters’ feet into the shape of lotus petals because it was considered delicate and beautiful. The norms have changed, but how women present their feet remains an integral part of the measurement of beauty.
At Cocopunkz, we believe in uniqueness and individuality. Hence each pair of shoes is hand painted with care and each pair of shoes has its own story and meaning.
